I just picked up my dress tonight and alterations are done!!!!! i am so excited to wear my dress. It gives me such an hourglass figure and hides my tummy really well! And another good thing is there is no fat hanging out!!!! so thrilled.
have you all got your alterations done and dress back or are you anxiously waiting???

I’m jealous! I’m still trying to decide if I want to buy a 2nd dress to replace the first one (that I’m not loving… I better decide tomorrow!!!
Looking forward to seeing photos of your dresses girls!

@78h2o: sorry to hear you aren’t happy with your dress! is it the entire dress or is it just parts of it? I hope you figure out what you want to do soon as you don’t have a lot of time left. Good Luck!

@78h2o: I got my dress from Niko’s in Highlandtown. I have very mixed reviews about them! I just want my dress out of the store.

@calico61979 – I don’t know what it is! I only looked for about an hour before I bought it because we had a 3 month engagement and I felt pressured to have a dress. Maybe it wasn’t the best style for me?? I think it will be fine if I stick with it… just trying to decide if it’s worth big bucks to get one that’s more flattering. 🙂
@kjgirl05 – I stopped by there yesterday. I have mixed reviews too. I’d been there shopping with my friend and sister previously for their dresses and bridesmaid dresses. One of my friends got our Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses there. I’m not crazy about the owners but the bridal consultant is nice. I tried on one dress yesterday that I liked more than my dress but less than the pricer one I’m considering. I hope you love your dress when you pick it up!! Do you have a photo?

@calico61979 – I posted about it here: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/help-should-i-change-dresses-35-weeks-out
I’m still on the fence, despite 68 votes telling me to get the 2nd dress! Any thoughts from my month twins?? My mom just called and said PICK ONE… apparently she can’t sleep due to MY dress stress! haha
Did you get the pictures yet of your dress in it’s final form?

I have yet to hear back from my seamstress, and my fitting was months ago! She’s also altering my veil (It was my mom’s veil) to match my dress better. I’m starting to stress because I want my veil for my hair trial, which I haven’t scheduled yet, because I haven’t heard from my seamstress. It’s a vicious, vicious circle I tell ya!
@78h2o: I LOVE that lace dress on you–freakin’ gorgeous!

@78h2o: The first dress is pretty, but the second dress is prettier to me. If you can afford it, I would go with the lace dress. I think it looks fantastic on you.
As for final form, I am afraid to post it because Fiance knows I go on here and the other day, i caught him on here looking to see what I said. no, he isn’t worried about what i say on here and doesn’t distrust, he is just nosey like that. so I wanted to wait till everything is done up. plus, my friend has the pictures on her phone and she didn’t give them to me

My dress won’t be ready until 10/5. I’m slightly nervous, because we’re going Out of Town for the wedding on 10/13. That doesn’t leave much wiggle room in case something goes wrong!
@78h2o: Do you have any accessories picked out yet? I like both dresses, but I think it would help if you showed the 1st dress with your smiling face and a veil to complete the look 🙂 Also, what’s your theme and location? You are such a pretty girl with a great figure, you will be a stunning bride in whatever you wear!
To be honest, I don’t love my dress either. I thought about selling it and looking for a replacement, but it’s a pretty dress and everyone else loves it. I’m just going to suck it up and wear it. When I went for my fitting, the other 2 brides, their moms and the seamstresses all said they loved it on me. When I said I had my doubts about it everyone else said “OMG, I was the same way!” The one mom said she had nightmares about her dress, but when she looks back at the pics she’s so glad she stuck with it. I know a lot of girls on here gush about how much they love their gowns, but I think this doubt is pretty normal.

I was in doubt when I hadn’t worn it in awhile. and if you watch the wedding dress shows or see everyone else’s dress, it’s hard not to wonder if it is the right one. But when I put my dress on again, I knew it was the one and have been happy with it.
