Check with a seamstress first. It would look better altered, but it isn't worth paying a lot. : (4 votes)

    I think it’s fine as-is.

Disclaimer: I really don’t care for corset-style backs. (I just wanted you to know I’m giving a tainted opinion). 🙂 So, if you want to emphasize the corset look, I would advise you to simply have it altered! It’s your dress, and you should do whatever you can to make sure you feel and look the most beautiful in your eyes.

I would have a consultation with a seamstress or two and have them give you a quote. I do think it would look a little better with it taken in, but if it is too expensive it’s not a big deal.

Check with a seamstress. It doesn’t look bad, but I can see that it’s laced as tight as possible. I think corset back dresses are meant to show the corset laces as part of the dress (they’re beautiful). But it is YOUR dress and you know your budget, so do what you feel is right.

    good luck! 🙂
