Dont fret. There will be plenty of time to fix any issues in the month after your next appointment. The potential problem is not crazy complicated, theres room to take it out… my advice is to let her worry about it! If shes a pro, theres no problem.

Most boning in formal gowns is sewn into separate casings onto the lining of the dress, so it shouldn’t affect the fit of the bodice, especially if she was able to pop the boning right out during your fitting and you were able to put the dress back on. Her suggestion of coming back in for another fitting closer to the wedding is great! It’s surprising how much a little bit of bloating can affect fit, especially if the gown was already for fitting in the first place. And a month between the next fitting and the wedding is plenty of time for a good seamstress to alter the bodice, especially if it’s just a little bit too small or too tight!
