That’s my dress too! Waiting to get it in, I know I’ll have to shorten it, but i don’t know how they can do that and still keep the bottom, it’s so pretty! Sorry, can’t help with the alterations…

When I had Allure 8764, I was told they would take it in from the sides/lower midsection. Kinda pulling it up to keep the details on the train and  the hem area. I didn’t understand but the seamstress is very very talented. A bride in there said that’s also what she was told.

@RachaelNatalia:  I tried the alfred 8501 on Sunday and was wondering the same thing. It’s exactly what I was looking for in a dress.  It’s lightweight and feminine which is how I want to feel on my wedding day.  I believe they take off at the midsection like the other bee said and hem it that way so it doesnt mess up the beautiful bottom. I havent conifrmed this is my dress yet, but I think I’m going to.  I wasnt allowed any pictures at the store :/ do you have any pictures of you in it? exciting!
