So the pic you posted is with it already pinned for alterations?  What does it normally look like?

I don’t think it would be too hard to alter them shorter.  I’m sure the seamstress at the salon will be able to help you!  The only thing is I think lace alterations can get pricey.

Hi! Yes, it is possible! I got the same dress for my wedding in March and I completely butchered the dress and it still came out beautiful! Thanks to my phenomenal seamstress! I ended up getting a size larger than I should have, so I had to pretty much alter everything (shoulders, keyhole, sides, arm holes, train, length)!  In addition to altering for fit, I removed the ruffles/flowers and placed them on both shoulders, as well as reduced the width of the sleeves.  So it is possible.

One thing I would add is if you love the dress and also love how the dress sits on you, ask if you can get the sample size and if the seamstress can alter it to fit you.  When I tried on the sample size, which was a 12, I loved the deep V and wide keyholeback and just how the dress sits on my body.  But when I got it in my size (an 8) the neck was higher and the keyhole was smaller than I liked.  Due to the design and lace, you need to cut according to the pattern of the lace, which limited my ability to get the deep V and wide keyhole.
