I bought a fit and flare dress and I mentioned to the consultant that I wanted a mermaid fit.  She had me put on a mermaid crinolin and pinned the lower part of the dress.  It looked fantastic.  I wish I had pictures of it but it was perfect.  So it can be done 🙂

Mine will be more of a mermaid when we’re finished with alterations (hopefully)… I’m so short – and it only made sense to do this with alterations since I bought a sample.  Heres a pic of the dress on the model and then one with me (dress clipped how I want it to be altered)

Gorgeous dress- what a steal!! Yes definitely the mermaid- it will look so awesome! I think mermaid style is the prettiest, especially on the right figure- I always suggest to go mermaid over fit and flare- imho it’s usually the best!
