wathenwedding17 :  I am having a very low key Bachelorette Party at a lake house in Michigan. It’s going to be very intimate with just my bridal party and sisters. I am not into the club scene either, but I still enjoy a good time so I think it will be a healthy combination! I don’t know many details because my Maid/Matron of Honor wants it to be a surprise, but I think we are spending a day at the beach and going out one night!

ETA: Sorry if that isn’t very helpful, but just trying to spark some ideas maybe!

I’m always an advocate of doing an escape room 🙂

Not sure if they have this in your area, but when I was Maid/Matron of Honor for my best friend I organized a party boat rental for the afternoon. It’s a small boat with a water slide where we could bring our own food and beverages. We had an amazing time talking, laughing, noshing, and using the water slide (and floating platform they brought). Great afternoon. Perhaps you could find a private charter boat where you can bring our own refreshments and have a day on the Potomac. The rental split among all the guests was not very expensive.

The Inn at Grace Winery is really beautiful. Its in Glen Mills, PA There’s a nice pool, hiking trails, and its not too far from Philly if you wanted to go into the city too. There are nice spas not too far away as well!

A lot of places have wineries around you could do a wine tour day rent a limo and have them drive you and your friends to different locations  (usually winery tours that I have been on are either free or only $10 so its really only the limo price) and then a different day go to a spa and get messages or pedicures together

I don’t know many details of mine, but when my ‘maids asked me if I wanted much input, I said no as long we break a sweat.  Then I suggested planning activities like hiking, aerial yoga, paddle boarding, rock climbing or a self defense class.  There will only be 4 of us so these things aren’t very hard to get everybody on board.

Not sure if it would be local to you, but there’s a place by me where you can make your own perfume. I always thought that would be fun to do for a bachelorette!!!

One of my friends paid for classes for us to make our own terraniums and then we went to her house for a dinner cooked by a private chef. It was lovely!

plannerbear520 :  I just did an escape room at a friend’s bachelorette! It was SO much fun- we escaped with literally 1 second to spare. Our time was 59:59.

I’m having a pajama party bachelorette- it’s the night before my shower to coordinate with everyone’s schedules so I didn’t want it getting TOO crazy. We’ll get some fancy pizza and probably watch movies and play Cads against Matrimony- well, those are just the ideas I gave to my Maid/Matron of Honor so we’ll see what she and the girls come up with! I know she’s also good at making Jello shots so maybe those will make an appearance!

For mine we are going down to Austin (we are in Dallas) and renting a house with a pool and plan to hang by the pool, have nice dinners, and maybe out to a bar one night.  I just want to relax and enjoy my girls!

I believe there are some nice winieries in Middleburg. It would be awesome to rent an Air BnB house out there and do some winery tours, and walking/hiking.

We went to a Greek restaurant where we danced in circles and they threw napkins in the air- very “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” style. It was really fun and even my grandmother came. Those that didn’t have to work the next day went cosmic bowling afterwards. It was super low-key and exactly what I wanted 🙂
