@futurepilotswife_: my bridesmaids walked down to over the rainbow, and i walked down to here comes the sun… which i got complents frmo everyone!
I’m walking down the aisle to “Wanted” by Hunter Hayes but the instrumental version. Fiance loves the song and doesn’t know it’s want I picked. I can’t wait to see the look on his face!!
I’m pretty sure nothing about our wedding is going to be ‘weddingy’ except I’ll wear a white-ish dress and we’ll have a cake (and say vows of course).
We’re planning a vintage-festival-type wedding, if we have it in summer I want to have rjd2 – ghostwriter (picture bridal party walking down the aisle at the start, I enter when the trumpets start up before it fades out when I get to the front). It’s a song that is really special to us and brings back lots of nice memories.
If we have a winter wedding I want Gabrielle Aplin – the power of love (yes, a cover of the frankie goes to hollywood song).
Mr Scottie and I have decided (well I decided, he’s just rolling with it :p) to incorporate a few wee surprises into the wedding, the first being that I’m secretly choosing the entrance music and he’s secretly choosing the exit music!
Let me know what you guys think!
I walked in to the ceremony to Adele’s version of ‘ Make you feel my love’.
I’m almost 100% sure I want to walk down the aisle to a piano version of “Stereo Hearts” by Gym Class Heroes.
Even though it’s going to be an instrumental only version, I’m going to be playing in my head “My heart’s a stereo, it beats for you so listen close. Hear my thoughts in every note, oh oh. Make me your radio, turn me up when you feel low. This melody was meant for you, so sing along to my stereo…”
And I am going to bawl my eyes out and look hideous the whole way
I’m almost sure that I’m gonna walk down to the instrumental version of des’ree kissing you from Romeo and Juliet. I love this song and it always sends shivers down my spine when I here it
I wanted to walk down to Springsteen’s Two for the Road, but we are getting married in the Catholic church, so that can’t happen!
Our friend (a groomsman) is going to play something on his acoustic guitar for me to walk down the isle. Maybe something by Incubus…maybe Stellar
I walked down the aisle to I’m Yours/Some Where Over the Rainbow by Straight No Chaser.
A friend singing/playing accoustic guitar of Everlong by the foo fighters
At the moment, the bridesmaids and I will probably be walking down the aisle to the Vitamin String Quartet cover of “Your Guardian Angel.”
Possibly “Question” by Rhett Miller or maybe “Follow Through” by Gavin DeGraw… I really can’t decide!
