I love these songs.  I am planning to walk down the aisle to A Thousand Years by Christina Perri.  Our unity ceremony will have another non-conventional song, undecided.  And our processional is the piano exit from Eric Clapton’s “Layla”.  I knew from the start there was no way I was walking down the aisle to da dum da dum…

@eeruhlig:  You can probably have the person officiating the ceremony ask everyone to please rise.  I’ve been to weddings where they’ve done that – even with the traditional HERE COMES TO BRIDE music (which I am also shunning!)

@eeruhlig:  We’re still trying to figure it out……. I really have always liked Canon in D for myself, but I am trying to find a more modern version.  For the processional and recessional, we’ve been looking for instrumental popular songs that we like – I’ve listened to some of the Vitamin String versions of some, but I am just not sold yet…… We need to get this info over to our DJ asap too and I am having the hardest time with it!  πŸ™‚  The devil is in the details!!

I think both of those songs are adorable.  Especially better together.  I keep going back to it wondering how I could use it.
