Insofar it seems as if Oasis is the only one who makes these plastic-backed wreath rings for centerpieces; but they are minimum $12.50 a pop and I need 30!
They will be for the base of my candelabra centerpieces. Anyone have a suggestion as to an alternative to these? I’d be happy to make them myself with floral foam. Any ideas as to what I could use as a ring to fill with floral foam? Or any ideas in general for a less expensive alternative?

I have made living floral wreaths in the past by placing a wire wreath form on a green plastic bag, filling the space with soil(you could use floral foam),cutting the bag so it wraps up over the filled wreath form then wrapping overlapping strips of plastic bag around the whole wreath, securing the whole thing with floral pins.
I have however always placed the wreath on a tray so that the table wouldn’t be damaged by moisture.

Thanks so much! I will for sure experiment with your suggestions and if all else fails – will buy those cheaper rings!
