melissabeemz :  So we had a Destination Wedding in Puerto Rico and had guests sign a canvas with the date of our wedding on it. Now it’s hanging on the wall of our home. Kind of like this:

melissabeemz :  We got a giant bottle of wine and had people sign it, we were going to save it for our one year anniversary but we drank it with friends the day after the wedding lol. Bottle of wine would probably be difficult for a destination wedding though…

We did postcards as our guestbook.  Some people really enjoyed it, though I’ll say that probably only half the guests participated.  I thought it was a fun idea, wish more people would’ve thought so too, but I guess that’s the bride’s perspective with every wedding, haha..

We did a thick cardboard framing mat and had everyone sign it. It’s very 90s (is that old enough to be vintage yet lol?) but we got a great photo of allll our guests during the toasts, so we’re going to frame that with it. Now we can look at it all the time!
