I am getting married in a church in April of 2013. I really do not like organ music and I definitely don’t want to walk down the aisle to the traditional here comes the bride march. We want to play our own music (using the sound system in the church – no musicians). Does anyone have any ideas for some alternative songs for me to walk down the aisle to?

First of all, I’d check with the church – a lot of them have pretty strict rules about no secular music, some even have specific songs you must choose from. And it would suck to get your heart set on a specific song and then be told you can’t use it.

+1 on checking with the church. I have almost always seen brides say that they aren’t really allowed to have “music freedom”, if you will.
I am having our acoustic guitarist play the instrumental of “I See the Light” from Tangled for my processional.

Thanks ladies. I will definitely get my fiancé to check with the church first but they are pretty liberal from what I have seen 🙂
