I have finally found my florist and decided on arrangements (under budget I may add); however, in speaking with the florist, she mentioned that flower balls may be too heavy for the flower girls to carry… therefore i still have a task at hand.
I am not interested in them throwing petals, for various reasons, and they both love to dress up as princesses, so i was thinking of creating a “flower wand” for the girls… although i think there may be a melt down with the ring bearers as the girls will have “weaponry” and an accessory. So, any suggestions?
I had seen an idea for a “ribbon ball” which replaces real flowers with ribbon flowers, and there is always the flower balls with fake flowers… but i figured i would go to the source and seek out other alternatives!

I have seen alternatives where the flower girls have ribbon wands and wave them down the aisle.
Or have a flower wand.
I think both are cute options! Good luck!

Depending how old they are, I’m having one of my flower girls carry a mini bouquet with just a couple flowers in it. I have 2 flower girls though, the one with the mini bouquet is 9, so she’s a little too old for a basket or something like that.

My flower girl is carrying a basket with petals that will hopefully NOT be thrown.

I had our Flower Girl carry a pinwheel. She was 6yro and it wasn’t used as weaponry 🙂 My son, who is 22mo, liked to play with it too but nothing obnoxious. We were on the beach, so the pinwheel looked nice.
I’ve also seen FGs carrying a long stem flower or 1 hydrangea which I thought looked nice also. A friend’s Flower Girl had a flower pomander ball and the flowers were all falling out by the time the ceremony ended; we were putting them back in all throughout the time we were taking pics afterwards… but it looked nice.
