@0CT12BRIDE:  We did the same thing – but with the words. Loved it and every time I hear that song, it takes me back to that moment. 🙂 The feedback I received was positive and nobody thought it was weird to have that as a processional.

I am thinking about the string cover of Head Over Feet (by Alanis Morrissette) by Vitamin String Quartet. They have some amazing covers of contemporary music.

Our processional was a John Lennon song “Out the Blue” performed by the band we hired for the day. And we recessed to Supertramp’s “Give a Little Bit.” I liked going non traditional, and our guests loved the live music.

We used the Water is Wide.  Our friend was supposed to play it on the bagpipes, but he couldn’t make it to our wedding at the last minute.  So, instead we used the Joan Baez / Indigo Girls recording from Lilith Fair.

Another vote for Vitamin String Quartet!  I think I’m walking down to their version of U2’s All I Want is You

We’re thinking of using “The Winner Is” By Michael Danna from the Little Miss Sunshine soundtrack. Not sure though.

My guys, girls, and myself will all be walking down to different songs. I’m pretty sure I’ll be walking down to “Isn’t She Lovely”. I’ve thought of other songs, but my gut keeps telling me to stick with that  one!

We had a strong quartet play Eric Clapton’s ‘Wonderful Tonight’.
