Hi Bees,
My new house has a magnetic knife rack on the wall (picture below for example). I really don’t like how it looks with knives on it but it looks difficult to remove from the wall without damaging the wall. I am trying to think of alternative uses for it. One such idea is gluing magnets to spice bottles to use it as a spice rack of sorts. Any other ideas?

The spice jar itea is really cute.. you can also get small jars and use them for other types of supplies like paper clips, magnets, ect.
You could use it for a mini herb garden [by glueing heavy duty magnets onto small mason jars & planting herbs].
Use it as a memo board with cute magnetic fridge clips.. or just put a memo board over it.
Turn it into a “weekly menu planner”, where you can use magnets to plan meals.

howtobeawife: We use them for spice jars. The lids already stick to the magnet so no need for additional magnets. But we have them mounted underneath cabinets so the jars are right-side up

howtobeawife: By The Way, if it’s the same one as the picture, it’s from Ikea and attaches to the wall with just two screws. So it wouldn’t be hard to remove unless it’s on tile.
