There is a very popular “Thank You” note to guests floating around the internet. You may have seen the one I am talking about… The wording is usually something similar to:
To our friends and family,
thank you for the support, encouragment,
love and laughter you have contributed to our lives.
You are our teaches, partners in crime and favorite
people in the world. We hope you enjoy tonight’s
celebration and the memories for years to come”
Usually this seems to be featured on a card at the place setting on sometimes at the bottom of a program. I loved in when I first saw it at my brother’s wedding last year (thinking it was their own words), but now planning my own wedding I realize that it actually is super popular.
Has anyone stumbled across a similarly cute, but less common, wedding “thank you” note?
I am also considering coming up with my own, but I am really bad at stuff like that, and even if I tried speaking from the heart, if you will, it would probably just be like “thank you for celebrating with us.” You guys know what I mean. Anyway, anyone know of another way to do this?
