Good thread! I don’t think either my mom or Mother-In-Law will care for a corsage… or flowers… or anything really! I don’t know if I will get them anything like that? Not sure, although I love that bracelet with the flower, posted above! That’s beautiful!
Any other “gift” ideas instead of flowers?? I’m wondering about jewellery.. earrings or something nice?

I should check my threads more often! Thought I subscribed by email but evidently I didn’t! Thank you for all the suggestions! I will definitely ask them their opinion and show them some of these options 🙂 By The Way nosegay, what a strange word, never heard of it before so I’m glad I did here before I go to a florist!

I saw something on Four Weddings I think, which is a break apart bouquet. My bouquet is three pieces – the first piece I will hand to my mother after she walks me down the aisle. After we are married I will split the last piece off and hand it to my new mother-in-law. I will still have a piece to walk back down the aisle with. It’s symbolic (that being said my future mother in law will be wearing a corsage as well – she doesn’t know that the second piece is going to her – so she insisted upon a corsage).

Absolutely love this thread. It’s good to hear fresh ideas! A nosegay would be very nice, or a wrist corsage attached to a beautiful crystal bracelet?

Get ready for a super controversial choice here: we did nothing. My mom is pretty particular about her appearance and didn’t want to worry about incorporating a corsage or bouquet that she couldn’t see in advance, and my husband’s mom didn’t care either way. So we spent the money on other stuff.
A lot of these ideas are super cute though. Love the idea of a break-apart bouquet.

What about a bracelet or something rather than flowers?

@MeghanV: I am doing the same thing I think that it is not necessary. we are not doing bouts for the groomsmen either

We did mini bouquets, they were very cute! They were the same as the bridesmaids bouquets only about half the size.
