My bridesmaids are walking down the aisle to “Heartbeats” by Jose Gonzalez.

My parents and I are walking down the aisle to an instrumental cover of “Keep Breathing” by Ingird Michaelson.

If you want something a bit untraditional, try searching for instrumental covers of some of your favorite songs. Our officiant mentioned this to me a few weeks ago, and Keep Breathing immediately jumped in my head because it was such a soft and beautiful song, plus I absolutley adore Ingrid Michaelson and her music has always been my go-to person when I was sad. Currently, I have a list of about ten different songs (instrumental) that I am going to weave throughout the wedding itself (Mumford and Sons, Florence and the Machine, etc.)

My daughter did https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rtOvBOTyX00 A Thousand Years and it was absolutely beautiful.

I am doing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Am7EI5tdaX4 Feels Like home.

Really anything goes these days. I think it makes it much more personal and meaningful to choose something that reminds you of your relationship in some way and just adds that special something. By the time my daughter finished her short walk to him, I think every single person was crying. It was a moment we all will never forget!

Just my two cents, good luck finding your song! 🙂

Wedding Party – Our House: Crosby Stills & Nash

Me – The Wind: Cat Stevens

Processional: You Make My Dreams Come True: Hall & Oates

I wanted songs everyone could sing along to and after listening to several instrumentals, I decided words were better, kept it light hearted. I REALLY wanted to have the wedding party walk to “Hang on Little Tomato” but the words in the song are super depressing and I couldn’t find an instrumental. Hope this helps!
