I really love Lavanilla! I like it the most out of all the alumnimum-free ones. I’ve only gotten the Vanilla Grapefuit scent. It’s just a deodorant, not an antiperspirant, so you do have to reapply throughout the day. But it’s kept me fresh!

Primal Pit Paste – worked well for me, I used the stick but they have a few different formulas. It kept me pretty dry, even in the summer months.

Ms_Purple:  I use Primal Pit Paste too!  For me, it doesn’t help too much with keeping me dry (darn Southern weather) but there is no smell.

The breast cancer and Alzheimer’s claims seem so iffy to me but I’m trying to reduce chemicals and allow my body to continue it’s natural processes.

And hey you should tell him that men can get breast cancer too!

Crystal deodorant worked well for me as far as odor went. But no aluminum-free deodorant is going to function very well as an antiperspirant. I couldn’t handle the wetness, so I went back to Secret. Maybe I’ll try Primal Pit Paste, as PP suggested.

mrssorbet:  I use Soft and Dry.. Its a clear stick, it comes in 2 scents: Powder Fresh & Sweet Bliss, I loooove sweet bliss it smells amazing.. Aside from it being aluminum free, its also suuuper cheap! I get it at walmart for like, $2.88 🙂 haha its a win-win

It doesn’t do much in the way of reducing sweat, but I don’t need to reapply scent wise until after I’m home from work, but, then again, I work in an office at a desk all day, so its not like I’m working up a sweat at all

According to the National Cancer Institutute, there isn’t any conclusive studies that link the two. That being said, I know of only two aluminium-free antiperspirants and they’re both pricey.

HyperDri http://www.amazon.com/HyperDri-Aluminum-Free-Antiperspirant/dp/B0041HVLKG/ref=sr_1_1?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1422038956&sr=1-1&pebp=1422038957414&peasin=B0041HVLKG

mrssorbet:  I do it once halfway through work (sometimes not even) and then once or twice later in the day, depending on what I’m doing.

mrssorbet:  I was using Ava Anderson and it seemed to work for a while, but now I smell so it’s back to the aluminum. Looking for an alternative as well.
