I’m an Alivina Valenta 9052 bride.  I’m shocked there aren’t more.

@wifegoodman: Complete with dress envy over here! I’ve had the AV9658 bookmarked in the knot for 2 years now, but sadly there were no stores around my area that still carried it. The price was also on the high end for my budget. Absolutely gorgeous dress; I’m happy you found it ๐Ÿ™‚

@wifegoodman: Omg, only one sample in the world? Oh I would just love to try it on to see how it would be…but I’m in MI in the last time I checked I think the dress was around $3k+, So worth it because it’s gorgeous but it’s a lot out of my price range. My mom bought a dress for me (Ella Rosa BE133) but I dream of that dress. I’ve always been a fan of Alvina Valenta classic gowns, so sad there isn’t more than one out there ๐Ÿ™ Btw, bridal sizing is ridiculous! I’m sure when your dress comes in sized right it will be even more beautiful! You’ll have to post photos!

I am also an Alvina Valenta bride!  Just got my dress yesterday, Style 9517.  I just LOVE it…so gorgeous.  The lace is exquisite.  It is heirloom quality, in my opinion… timeless.  I even like the rhinestone brooch and I don’t normally like that sort of thing.

My fiance gave me a max limit of 2K which would have made this way out of my price range except that I got it at a bridal consignment shop here in Houston (Marry Go Round Bridal…only bridal gowns, feels just like a regular bridal boutique, only dresses in great condition) for 1200!

At that price, I can do all the altering i want (including adding a lace up/corset back, which I love), and even can get some lace added to my veil, etc…

The color of the satin (which isn’t nearly as heavy feeling as i expected it would be…perhaps because it is a silk/satin?) is called “cream”… sort of like a light champagne (btwn. champagne and ivory), with ivory alencon lace on the bodice and hem.

Found these pics online in various places… to show the front, back, what it will look like bustled, and closeups to show the detail.

Unlike the first photo, I will be wearing a cathedral length ivory veil (to go past the train), that I am going to have alencon lace added to (at the end portion).

@vegangelist:  Wow, did you actually snatch this dress up for $1200?? That’s amazing!

I’ll be wearing Alvina Valenta on my wedding day as well, but a bridesmaids dress in ivory. ๐Ÿ™‚

Yes, I did… but actually, I changed to a different dress (I love this dress but it just really wasn’t appropriate for the venue/wedding theme). ๐Ÿ™

ANYONE who wants this dress… I will sell it for 1100 (only been worn one day…and then tried on by me of course)!

Message me!

Kristi

Does anyone have a pic of 9102 with the champagne color underneath the ivory vs ivory/ivory.

@wifegoodman:

I am selling my brand new Alvina Valenta. It’s a custom made Alvina Valenta (9161 top and 9102 bottom) due into Wedding Atelier in May. If you are interested, I’ll give you a great price. Let me know!
