llussier:  Oh I have, nothing I see matches up to the Alvina in my eyes. I refuse to go try it on because I don’t want to fall in love any more than I already am, but I’m still trying to find something that makes me forget about the Alvina!

I don’t mind that Allure one though! Maybe I’ll find somewhere to try it on! Thanks 🙂

I was just thinking recently that I feel like I don’t see many brides on these boards discussing Alvina Valenta much, when the other JLM lines are pretty popular.  I think that will change when the Spring 2015 line hits more stores, since the AV dresses from bridal market were quite sexy and embellished, with lots of Gatsby-esque details.

I didn’t try on any of the Alvina Valenta dresses, though the salon I bought my dress at now carries Alvina Valenta and I did try on 4 different Hayley Paige gowns and one Tara Keely.

I’m an alvina bride! Like you, I had never heard of Alvina Valenta prior to shopping. In fact, I had about 5 Jim Hjelm dresses picked, and my stylist grabbed the Alvina without me knowing! Sometimes they know best!
