I just joined this site because I wanted to hear some insight from all the brides searching for their perfect dress. I live in a smaller city where we don’t have too many options for wedding botiques. Anyways I went to the ones we do have and tried more than a few dresses’. Throughout the whole process, I would always second guess myself. Finally, I saw a beautiful dress from Maggie Sottero 2012 collection. I called all the stores outside of my city…however, no one had in the store. I decided to give it a chance and order it from one the webisites…well the dress arrived and I hated it…I guess that’s what I get for trying to get it online. Anyways, the search went on,,,,and I found an Allure Exclusive dress…style 2457. I decided I wanted ruffles in my skirt. Originally I was looking for drop waist and this dress does have it. However, it is not sweetheart and it doesn’t have bling. I am planning to adjust the top to sweetheart and I did order a blingy belt to add some sparkle….but I am still not sure if this is my dress. I loved it when I tried it on…because it did have the ruffled skirt and drop waist…and I love it every time I look at the picture of the dress online. So, why am I second guessing myself???
Let me know your thoughts what you guys think about this dress and if anyone has tried it themselves…would love to see your pics in it.

I think that dress is gorgeous!

Love the dress, But with that detail on the hip, a belt might not look great…Just my opionon would have to see it all together.
I would get brooches to put in the center of the flowers to add bling, maybe you could add bling to the sweetheart cut (I think the sell applique’s for this)
This dress is so pretty!!

I love this dress!!
I am also second guessing my dress choice. I tried on a good 40 dresses I tired mine on and fell in love. Well lately i have been seeing dresses i would rather have.

I like @wilobrook’s idea about putting the bling in the flowers instead of adding a sash. It’s a pretty dress but with the flowers there, I think a sash might look awkward. Plenty of other ways to get some sparkle in there though!

@FutureMrsNogueras: That is exactly my problem. I am always searching for new dresses and I am always thinking how I should have maybe tried those on and waited to get a dress. Like I love this dress…but maybe I need to go back to the store and retry to remember why I fell in love with it in the first place…Ughh I am difficult!

@sweetcrackers: Well the sash would be sawn in because it is like an applicator…and it would go right under the bust area….I like wilobrook’s idea about adding some sparkle on the sweetheart cut. I am not very creative as how I could incorporate the sparkle because I feel without it would be too plain. Do you have any other ideas how I could add that blingy feeling without making it look weird??

I ordered my dress 2 weeks ago and I am too having dress regret. I love love my dress so I have no idea what the problem is. I guess I need to stop watching SYTD because I am going insane. Everyone loved me in the dress and I love me in the dress but I have no idea why this happens.
I Love your dress but agree with other PP as the belt might not go with it but I guess you’ll have to try it for us to see

I think it is our personality to want the next best thing. My dress is arriving in 2 weeks. Took a total of seven months and if you don’t think I was googling dresses everyday you are wrong. I love my dress and how I feel in it but I always wonder, was there something better. Whats a girls to do!
