I’ve been using this tool for months now, and it’s great… I see many posts about not knowing what to eat, how to create balanced meals, etc. I thought I’d share my little secret.
I suscribed to this free website, and they send me menus every week. Menus are personalized (for example, I need a gluten-free menu), and you can set the amount of portions you need (I ask for 4 portions, that way we have lunch and dinner covered).
Meals include soup or salad, a main dish and desert.
If there are recipes that I don’t plan to make (I never make desert), I can remove it from my plan, and it will amend my grocery shopping list – yes, it provides the shopping list as well!
So, the menu they send is balanced, they give you all nutritional info you need about it, and it’s very diversified and still easy to do. It’s also balanced throughout the week (i.e. 1 day fish, 1 day vegetarian, 1 day red meat, 1 day chicken… for those who are not on the vegetarian menu).

For my husband and I, it made life much easier, I am now completely in charge of meals, and it’s a fun thing, no longer a chore, because I never have to go in circle in my kitchen, wondering what’s for dinner. And it’s so much cheaper, we used to go out much more often whenever we weren’t inspired.
