I don’t understand what you’re trying to say… what are you selling and wearing IF it sells??

Sorry but it’s a little unclear… to me anyhow.

Ohhh, ok cool.

And I don’t really see a problem with it. I think it can be a smart move to change into a more dance-appropriate dress if you’re planning to party at your reception.

Last bride I talked to spend a lot of her recpetion being very uncomfortable in her dress as it was big and some of the boning started poking in. And yes it was a good quality dress.

I think with all weddings, someone will always have something to whine about. You can’t please everyone. Do what you like, it’s your day.

The top dress does look quite heavy though. I would be inclined to sell it and find something smaller and sexier for the ‘after party’ dress if you’re planning to par-tay!

I don’t see any problem with wearing both. It’s your day… who cares what anyone else says? A lot of people wear a different dress to the reception. They both look great! I think the sash will make the dress pop.  =)

why not wear both? it’s your day!  especially if you it won’t sell, might as well make use out of it! but having tried on both lace dresses and that same dress at DB, I actually thought the DB dress was pretty constricting since it’s fit/flare and the lace dresses more flowy and light.

I was a 2 dress bride and I loved it.  My first dress was very delicate and wearing it to dance and party in would have ruined it.  My 2 dresses didn’t cost more than $600 together.  My 2nd dress was a secret so when I came out in it, everyone thought I had taken a layer off the original one.  Go for it, not diva-ish at all!
