Try right-clicking and hitting “view image” first, then using the “save as” option.

I must say that I had this problem a couple of times with Vista/Firefox too. You’re not an idiot. 🙂

Have you tried just dragging it from the post to your computer desktop? The other option is to use the print screen button on your computer and then paste it into paint, then modify the picture to exclude the extra stuff from your computer screen.

I can usually copy pictures by right clicking, copying and then posting into a word document!

@Kemma: Ditto that. Which reminds me, there are some flower bouquets I need to go and save 🙂

Download Google Chrome and see if a different browser works better for you.

you need to change the file extension. change file type to “all files” (if that’s your only option….jpg would be a preferable option but doesn’t sound like it’s giving you that choice) and then type the “save as” name to bouquetinspirationorwhateveryouwant.jpg. the “.jpg” part is the important part. this should work….and if it doesn’t i’m embarassed because i’m an IT manager. but i’m a mac user and have never used vista so if it doesn’t work that’s my excuse!

as a back up, you should always be able to copy and paste into a word document as explained above.

I think I ended up copying and pasting directly into my inspiration board which is made in PowerPoint. I use FireFox at home as well and I remember having trouble. And yes, I also consider myself to be a pretty internet savvy gal as I work in that industry for a living. You’re not an idiot.
