Yes, I’m trying not to think about it, though!

@MrsDrRose612:  I know exactly what you are saying! I was just talking about this with a married friend of mine the other day! She said once you are actually walking down the aisle you don’t even think about all the people looking at you. She said you see your Fiance up there and thats pretty much all you can think about. I’ve already decided that I won’t be looking to see how many people are out there before I walk. That way I hopefully won’t think about it at all.

@MrsDrRose612:  That’s the same thought that has gone through my mind too! I am not so worried about the reception entrance though because I figure by then the ceremony pressure will be over and I will be able to relax and have a drink (or 5!) to take the edge off before the reception entrance! lol!

My Fiance is dreading it. He hates being the center of attention. He actually put his foot down and said no big wedding because of it.

Just remember the people there love you and are there to support you. You’ll have a blast 🙂

I’m somewhere between nervous and dread.. Definetly not someone who strives for being the center of attention, nor does my Fiance.

Gotta play the role and rock it, hopefully I’ll be able to enjoy it.

Yeah, I’m right there with you.  Some days I’m ok, but other days I get really scared thinking about it.

I thought this would be an issue for me on our wedding day.  But walking down the aisle, I only saw Darling Husband.  During the entrance, I had his hand to hold and it seriously lasted like 10 seconds. During our first dance, I just looked into his eyes.  After you get over those hurdles, people will mingle and talk amongst themselves.  You can go and speak to people and socialize in smaller manageable groups.  It won’t be as bad as you build it up in your head to be.

My fiance is worried about it and wants me to be the center of attention so he doesn’t have to. I’m not sure how to do that. I’m sure I’ll get more nervous as it gets closer.

I’m a little nervous, but mostly because I have an anxiety disorder. I’ll pull through though.

Oh you’re not alone. I’m terrified at the thoguht of being the center of attention- which makes no sense what so ever because I’ve been in dance for 25 years.

I have been having nightmares about this problem. In my dreams, everybody is looking at me, and something is terribly wrong or out of place but I am too nervous about being stared at to speak up about it! My throat actually closes up and sometimes I faint when I get too much attention on me. My plan is to just keep looking at my Fiance… (And drink)
