Hi date twin! I have no idea if I am ahead, behind, or right on schedule 🙂 but here’s what I have done: ceremony location, officiant and musicians booked, reception venue (which comes with catering, linens, etc) booked, photographer and videographer booked, DJ booked, cake tasting scheduled, STD’s sent, gift registries finished, cocktail napkins ordered (random lol), and some decoration things got started this weekend. Oh, and we booked our honeymoon.

I have a long list of things to finish, but some are details that there’s no sense in doing until the day is closer and we have a somewhat accurate head count. I feel like all the major decisions have been made, and all the vendors have at the very least a deposit and signed contract, so I think we’re in good shape…..? I keep hearing from people who say “I planned my wedding in 3 months, you have tons of time!”

I JUST this week booked a caterer… so unless you have something bigger than that to do I think you’re OK, lol.

We have…..

  • Church
  • Reception Venue
  • Pre-Cana done
  • Photographer (actually booked him first ;-p)
  • cake person – but scheduling our meeting now
  • DJ
  • dress came in
  • finalizing with my girls their dresses
  • florist – but our flowers are changing due to the dresses being more elegant than the funky textured ones I wanted ;-/
  • Centerpieces almost finalized
  • Caterer (As of this week)
  • Just purchased invites, so I’ll start working on printing, etc soon
  • registry complete

We still need to send our STD’s that have been half ready since BEFORE easter.
We finalized our honeymoon and are booking this week
Need to find my hair/make-up
Hotel Blocks
I’m sure so much more too 😉
