That price seems high to me, unless she dipped the baby’s breath in actual gold.

I would look at a different florist, if possible.

that’s crazy. have you thought about just buying carnations at the grocery and tying them together yourself?

I’m not sure, but it sounds kinda high for carnations.  But in regards to the bouquets for your BM’s, I actually used silk flowers for theirs that I bought half off from Hobby Lobby and they looked great.  And no you aren’t a bridezilla, this way they can always keep the bouquets.  I also got a third one that I threw for the bouquet toss.

That is very expensive, especially for carnations.  I would probably point it out to her and see what she says.

Hmmm.., sounds like a lot. I paid $50 and my Bridesmaid or Best Man bouqets have peonies and stuff.

I was all set to be the dissenting opinion here, as I’ve noticed a lot of brides initially get sticker shock over what I feel are very reasonable prices for things, but you’re totally in the right on this one.  That’s nuts.  I think anything over $75 for a bridesmaid’s flowers is a bit much, especially if you’re just having carnations.

That strikes me as being pretty high for carnations. I think my Bridesmaid or Best Man bouquets were around $50 or $60 with roses, mini callas, and some various other white flowers.

Just a thought: a lot of times florists have to order flowers in certain bunches so it could be possible that she is not using all of them but had to order a certain number. Maybe you would have better luck if they carried the same flowers that you are using throughout.

Definitely ask for clarification or see if she can go lower.

My girls bouquets were $40, for 9 black magic roses, crystals and bear grass. That quote is outrageous.
