I am probably the most visual thinker of anyone I know. I am struggling to keep things going with the flow without seeing it all together. I see one thing and I love it then another and run that way ect ect. Here are my inspirations for my wedding theme. I feel they are going 2 different directions. Modern bold colors vs. antique vintage in the same scheme. Help! What do I need to take out or add?? Keep in mind we are having it whimsy and casual.

That’s kinda what I’m doing. My colors are bold (black with hot pink and burnt orange accents), but all my dresses (both mine and BMs) have a vintage feel to them. I have a very simple, classical style, but I didn’t want a "vintage" wedding. I thought that having the "modern" colors was a good way to achieve that.

I have no idea to delete these pictures and add new ones. The file is too big. Sorry

If it were me, I think I’d really showcase the bold colors and then accent with the antique. So…you can have those bridesmaid dresses, but pair them with pearl necklaces and earrings and maybe a more vintage-y looking hairdo. Try adding some kind of vintage type lace hem or slip under the dresses to have peeking out. That sounds so cute, kind of Jackie O-esque!!

I’m also having a wedding that uses modern bold colors. Think lime and turquoise with orange, pink and yellow accents. But… it’s at a barn in the country so I’m hoping it will still have lots of whimsy and a casual feel. I think it will all come together.
