Yes, do find something to say!  You are NOT a bridezilla at all- And you are gonna look great!  If you need to, show your mom this post!

I’d give her the opportunity to step down from the wedding party if she does’t want to wear what you want her to.

On a side note–fishnets and a top hat–REALLY?!?!  Who the hell does she think she is????

NO… tell her this is not moulin rouge and fishnets and top hats are not for weddings. I would say very sweetly/politely that this is your wedding and your vision of the day and if she cant handle going along with that then she can find another way to be part of the wedding, but not as a bridesmaid….

I don’t think you’re being unreasonable.

I’d probably tell her feel free to wear it.. as a guest. But maybe that’s just be being cranky this morning.

You are not being unreasonable. Either she wears something that YOU picked out, or she doesn’t have to be a bridesmaid. If you don’t want her in fishnets and a tophat, then she shouldn’t be wearing that either. I had to threaten my then Future Mother-In-Law to not wear JEANS to my formal, Victorian wedding!! I told all the waitstaff and the coordinator that under no circumstances was anyone allowed at my wedding wearing JEANS! She took the hint and switched.

Also…if you’re wearing a birdcage veil, why is she? Whose wedding is it anyways!! Don’t be a pushover, stand your grand. She doesn’t get to walk all over your decisions.

Sorry, but your sister has gone completely over the deep end. I can’t believe you are even questioing whether or not YOU are being the unreasonable one here.
