I think you know your dress when you see it! If you do buy it, take my advice and don’t try any more on lol. I bought my dress 10 months before my wedding and still continued to look at dresses online. I tried a few on and realized my original dress that I bought was the one!

And I know personally, my dress sort of set the whole tone/theme to my wedding! PS Alfred Angelo 801 is gorgeous! Good Luck!

I think it really depends on your personality, actually. If you’re the type of person that falls in love with something, and never gives it a second thought, its definitely not too early! But if you second guess yourself easily, you may want to wait. If you buy it, don’t try on other dresses! Personally, I’d buy it 🙂 it wouldn’t be too early for me.

It’s a beautiful dress- just stop dress shopping NOW. Otherwise we might see you on a dress regret thread later this year. 🙂

OMG yes that dress is gorgeous. If you have the budget set and the venue and tone of your wedding determined, and the dress fits this then I would say yes to the dress! If not, then I would wait. I’m saying this from personal experience. I bought my first dress before I had done ANYTHING and I was alone. I bought the dress and long story short, it didnt fit the venue I ended up booking, my mother didnt like it (she didnt say that but I could tell) and it needed more work (meaning more money) done to it and the expense was already over budget. I had to end up getting a 2nd dress that worked with my wedding plans.

If you buy it, do NOT go dress shopping afterwards.  Haha.

If you are 100% sure that IS the dress, go for it!

@Miss_Itzy:  I don’t think that’s too early at all! Usually it’s about 9-12 months out that brides should get their dress, so you’re just a little more than that.  I wouldn’t worry – plus, you love it and it’s a great deal!  I say go for it!

I bought my dress 19 months in advance. It was a total whim, but I had a very specific look that I wanted (short, 50s style, lace and tulle) and had wanted that same look for years. So when I found it in my price range, I bought it.

I agree that it’s about your personality and being honest with yourself. Are you going to look at other dresses? Do you frequent dress websites? Have you looked at other dresses and had the same loving feeling? For me, I see other dresses and think that they are pretty, but they are not my dress. It’s very distinct.

I don’t think you’re buying too early.  Just make sure you absolutely love the dress though.

I bought my dress a year and three months out from my wedding and have no regret.

Go for it!  My wedding is a month after yours and I bought my dress last week because I fell in love with it the moment I saw it (and it was 20% off!)  If you know you love it, and you’re getting a great deal on a dress that would be too expensive otherwise, I don’t think the timing of the purchase matters too much.  Grats on finding your dream dress!! 🙂
