that’s what i did with my david’s bridal dress all i had tried on where alfred angelos * i come from a small town without options lol*

I had loved the dress in the pic and besides every Alfred Angelo dress that I loved they had stopped making so I bought mine off oncewed.com for $175 and I love it…

wish the material wasn’t so rustly but oh well I’m happy

Wow, that is a beautiful dress for a garden wedding!  Have you been able to find a similar dress to this near you?   You may want to try to at least find the silhouette so you can be sure it looks the way you want it to.  Also, I’d consider how far the closest available dress to try on is to you.  Are you near a major city?  Even a 2-3 hour drive (maybe a nice girls getaway weekend?) will be worth it for you to have peace of mind.  Good Luck!

I love the WToo Vanessa!  That would be perfect for your style wedding too.  Good luck finding it

At least try something from the same designer to see the fit and size.  I consider buying this dress sight unseen, but eventually chickened out:  http://www.allurebridals.com/index.php?id=3&product_id=601

As long as you have a good seamstress and you try on a similar dress (even if by a different designer) and some of the designer dresses, I bet you’ll be ok.

I love that dress, by the way!

(I should note that I chickened out bc my tatas are a bit on the generous size of things and I didn’t want it to be indecent for the wedding.  If it had been a dress I knew they could be contained in, I would have gone with it!)

I am no seamstress but I’m wondering if the bridal salon near you can ask the Watters Torreon people if there is a dress of similar/like style.  Sometimes, the dress pattern is the same but it’s the details that make the difference.  In that way, you could get a better idea of fit.  It’s a gorgeous gown, and I can see why you love it!

That dress would be lovely at an outside garden wedding.  Did you ask any of the salon’s when the sample is coming in and if that was one that they ordered, also how long it takes once ordered?

Watters should be able to send a sample to the store for you to try on.

its lovely! but I would never buy my wedding gown without trying it first, you only get one, and it would be a shame to not be totally satisfied with it.

You can try to find out if there are trunk shows that are coming and ask the store to request that it be in their trunk show.
