I said no because (although I love the song too), it’s just too popular right now so everyone will think “twilight” and not “bride”.

Well, I say it’s your wedding and you should do what you want …but, the idea does kind of make me cringe on the inside. :-/ Sorry.

To add, it’s mostly just because that I don’t think that Edward and Bella have a particularly healthy relationship… Sorry. You were looking for honest opinions.

A friend of mine got married last year and used that song as their exit (processional or recessional I can’t remember which is which).  It’s pretty.  Only Twilight fans will know where it’s from.

I like the song and I never thought of using it… I’m a twilight fan, but when I hear it I honestly don’t think of the movie. It’s a really pretty song I say go for it and oh well if anyone recogonizes it that way… at least they’ll always remember it! 😀

Go for it. Honestly, only 2 people attending my wedding have even seen Twilight. I wouldn’t worry about the connection in the slightest.

Hmmm…given how popular the movies are right now, I wouldn’t.  I don’t think you would want people thinking about trashy vampire novels while you get married!

I said yes because I just listened to it and the middle part where it builds is very pretty. The beginning is a bit eerie though. If you like it and you can see yourself walking down the aisle to it then go for it.  If any of your guests are Twilight fans they will probably love it. If your guests have seen the movie but aren’t big fans they’ll barely remember and the rest of the group will just think it’s pretty.

If I were a guest at your wedding, I would have no clue what the song was. Do you have a bunch of Twilight fans on your guest list?

My best friend got married 2 years ago and played it for her entrace. It actually brought a tear to my eye and I think of her coming down the aisle whenever I hear a certain part of it.  If you love it, use it. Who cares what other people think and how many of them do you think would even know what it is anyway.

I would  have no idea where it came from because I do not watch the Twilight movies… If its the song you want to use and you absolutley love it…then use it!   I agree with pp, only twilight fans will recognize where the song is from.
