I would like a lace gown but don’t want to spend more than $800. Am I crazy? Can I find a lace dress for only $800 or do I need to broaden my horizons? (I’m fine spending more on alterations down the road but for now, just for the dress, I’d like to keep it to about $800)

Have you checked scarlettscloset.com? That could be spelled wrong, but they have some beautiful dresses on there in that price range, they are store samples. I also know that theweddingshoppeinc.com has a bunch. I bought my tea length from their store in MN and their web site has everything the store has and maybe slightly more.

I would look for your dress used on sites like oncewed.com, recycledbride.com, preownedweddingdresses.com, or ebay.com. I bought my dress used for 1/4 the retail price.

I second the Wedding Shoppe! They are local to me so I bought my dress there in person but they do ship nationwide. Also they recently redid their website and it’s now really easy to search by a certain price and fabric.

Mori lee 1612. The salon that I went to had it priced at $800. There are some Wtoo dresses that have lace appliqué that are within your budget as well.

If you are willing to buy a sample gown, I think your budget is very doable. My dress has a lot of lace on it, and I got it for 80% off because the store was moving and had to sell all their samples. It looks like you still have some time to shop for a great deal.
