imgettingmeowied :  They have to at least be 14 weeks pregnant to be due in August. My friend is due August 30 and shes almost 15 weeks preg.

imgettingmeowied :  I would not change the date. If you move it up, they could have their babies early. If you move it back, they could run late. They could have a child in the NICU for 6 months. There are too many factors, and I am afriad you would move it, just to have them still not be able to make it, unless you push it back a year.

I understand wanting your best friends there, but in the end, it is your day with your husband and you will still have a memorable day!

imgettingmeowied :  they can’t be 2 months right now, for an August due date they have to be in their second trimester already. It sounds like they knew & are just now telling you.

You haven’t said what your Fiance thinks of moving the date yet. Also, are you moving it up or back? And have you talked to your friends about it? They might not want to come still if you move it up (last trimester can be really uncomfortable to travel) and they might not be able to make it soon after, newborns are a handful and if they have c-sections they’ll be tending a newborn and recovering from surgery.

pinkcorsage :  The end of August is only 6 months away. I can understand not telling people right away, but if you know you are expecting and due at the same time as another pretty large thing you’ve committed to and can no longer attend, that seems like an exception to me. If STDs only went out two weeks ago…it just seems pretty clear they must have already known and could have disclosed it in confidentiality to their best friend OP.
