Why don’t you get a replica made of your actual dress, if youre going to do a trash the dress? That way you can put the pics in your wedding album without people wondering why you’re underwater in someone else’s wedding dress.

If you decide not to go the replica route, you could buy a dress from a charity consignment shop or Brides Against Breast Cancer. Many of those dresses are quite inexpensive, and you can support a good cause while also getting your dress.

Definitely do it! I was just going to suggest buying an inexpensive replica because than you’ll never care what happens to it

I would do a trash the dress on the beach in my real dress….I don’t know if I’m doing that though, but it is a good way to wear your dress again! 🙂 Then get it prof cleaned.

@weddingbound:  My Fiance is a photographer – he told me that “trash the dress” sessions usually involve a fake dress or the dress is shielded from real damage in ways that don’t show up in the photos
