Hello all, I’m new to this forum 🙂 Have been TTC 3 cycles, all ending up in AFs 🙁
I’ve been marking my AF days from Sept 2012. My cycle lengths are varying in the range of 25 – 32 days, but haven’t missed AF a month ever… this time also when my baby hopes ended in an AF (today’s CD2 🙁 ), I felt the need to see a gynaec to check with her whether what me and Darling Husband were following was rite.. (BD every alternate day from CD11 – CD17).
The gynaec expressed a doubt that my cycles though not missed were on the “borderline of being irregular” (since the cycle lengths were a little less than constant) so she’ll have to do an ultrasound scan on CD10/11 to see the follicles, and maybe follow up with the scan until I ovulate. I was a little worried bcuz I used to think that irregular cycles were for ppl with > 35 days cycles or so… She also told that it is possible that one does not ovulate for a particular month and still have AF!… I was a little scared after hearing all this bcuz I felt I had no probs as I had AF, come what may, each month… I have mild short bearable cramps sometimes in the mid-cycle and also sometimes a week before AF.
Can any of u plz tell me what exactly is an irregular cycle and has anyone with same case as mine got a BFP ? … positive answers would boost my morale.. 🙂
Baby dust to u all!! 😀
