It’s really faint, but it’s there!  That’s exactly what my very first positive looked like! Congrats momma!

@britbrit: DPO means days post ovulation.  I think the general consensus here is that it is positive!  But the next time you test maybe use a digital test that just reads “pregnant” or “not pregnant” – that way there’s no confusion about the results.  But from what I’ve read even a faint line is a positive, and a false positive is VERY rare.  Hope that helps!

The concentration of the pregnancy hormone in your urine will be highest first thing in the morning.  If you can stand to wait you might get a more clear result in the morning, but since you got your faint positive 2 days ago you might be fine to test during the day (the hormone increases with every day).  FYI I have never had a positive test so I am just going off of what I have read from other ladies!  If it was me I’d probably buy a multipack of tests and test today and have backups for tomorrow.  Good luck!

oh I’m so sorry!  Maybe it is too early to test positive with the digital?  Any other ladies out there have experience?  If I was you I would test with another First Reponse first thing in the morning (or maybe in a few days if you can wait), because right now you have one positive and one negative.  I know it’s hard to say when you ovulated because it’s your first cycle off of the pill, but it could be really early after conception.  Hope I didn’t lead you in the wrong direction with that digital test!

I’d test with another FRER. I’m 9 months pregnant now, and the digitals NEVER showed up as pregnant for me when I was testing early on. Don’t count yourself out yet!

If you just got off the pill, it may take longer for you to ovulate and get regular cycles.  I would start temping to see if you’re ovulating?  Or if you’re just enjoying NTNT, I’d wait a little longer.  I didn’t see a line in the first test, it looks like how the tests look when they come out of the package (you can always see a little bit of a line!)  If it were me, I’d assume it was negative and start temping to see if you’re ovulating.

I would take another FRER first thing in the morning. I got my first very faint positive then had a positive digital. The next day me being crazy I took another digital and it said Not Pregnant but my pee was just too diluted as I’m now 25 weeks along. There’s so little pregnancy hormone in your system in the very beginning.

Your first FRER pic looks positive to me so I wouldn’t be so sure to believe the digital at this point. Good luck!!
