Just an update, I took the other digital that came with the first one. It said Not Pregnant as well. But still no period. The wait continues :
How likely is it that since I just got off the pill it is just taking extra time to regulate?

Just so you know…..digital is not “5 days sooner” so you are probably pregnant you just don’t have enough hormones for the digital reading.

Go buy first response…again….and also make an appointment for a blood test.

after I went off the pill, I didn’t have a period or ovulate for nearly 400 days. (and only did then because I got diagnosed with PCOS and started medication.) I really don’t see why so many bees are possibly getting your hopes up– I would much rather assume I wasn’t pregnant and have a happy surprise than to assume I was pregnant and then find out my body was just regulating off medication.
Again, I would start temping and charting to see if you’re ovulating if you’re actively trying to TTC. If you’re just NTNT, then I wouldn’t pay any attention to it unless I had some strong/clear pregnancy symptoms.

It can take several months for the body to regulate your cycles after coming off bc, so it wouldn’t be surprising at all for your period to be off by a little (or even a lot) for quite awhile. If you’re actively trying to conceive, I’d take bookworm’s advice along with visiting your ob/gyn to see what you can do to increase your chances while your body is adjusting to being without bc hormones.

I swore I was pregnant once bc I was exhausted, nauseous, really sore boobs, etc. I was on the pill so didn’t really think it could happen because I was pretty good about taking it, but I had taken some antibiotics (and I have a niece and nephew from 2 different sisters thanks to the pil). Anyways, I was in the first few days of the sugar pills and no period yet, so decided to test. My first test looked a lot like yours, there seemed to be a very faint positive line. I was freaking out, so I decided to take another test from a different brand and it was negative. Got AF two days later 🙁 So beware, because I think that sometimes pregnancy tests (especially the two lined ones) can have false positives. I know it is super rare, but if you Google the sensitivity rates, you’ll see others who have gotten false positives. Such a bummer! Then again, if you still have not gotten your period, I would probably go to the doctor to make sure nothing is abnormal.
