you arent too late! but i would start looking into it before you pay more than you should.  we booked our honeymoon in late november for mid february and def paid for it….but it happened to fall on valentines day and presidents day so that might have something to do with it.

All of those places sound amazing! i’ve never been to any of them.

Definitely start looking sooner rather than later. Fiance and I booked our honeymoon last month and many of the rooms we wanted were already booked so we were limited.

@LouLou513: I think you are fine, but you need to make a decision. You may have more options in Riviera Maya than the others because they have more hotels… just a thought.

I think you are ok. We are getting married June 23 and also haven’t booked, thinking about doing that this weekend! Good luck to you!

I agree that you should get on it as far as planning. I voted St. Lucia, since that’s where I’ll be going. I hear it’s a beautiful island!

@LouLou513: It depends on what you want and what you care about.  Some people like to pick out not just the city, but the hotel, and the room within that hotel.  Some people just like to get away, and don’t care too much about the specifics.

Personally, I think if you wait a little longer and aren’t too fussy, you can get a way better deal.  There are tons of sell off, last minute deals if you wait until just before to actually book something.  But with that there is a chance that a specific hotel or type of room will be booked.

Personally I almost never book a trip before a few weeks a head of time.  But I am not too fussy about resorts.  Having been to > 20 of them they are all pretty similar.  I say that but realise it is with in class or rating.  A 2 star will obviously be inferior to a 5 star.  But all 5 stars offer generally the same ammenities, quality of food, excursions etc.

I don’t think you are too late!  You will still get a great honeymoon and spend time with your new husband.
