I’m sorry the test result Friday was negative. Did you ask the doc why your temps are high and you aren’t pregnant? I don’t know much about that since I’ve never charted. I hope somebody can help! Hang in there. 🙂

Your temps will stay high until you get your period (during your luteal phase).  The luteal phase varies between women but is fairly consistent for a particular woman from cycle to cycle.  Have you been charting long?  If you have for at least a few months, you should have some idea of how long it takes you to go from ovulating to period.

Are you saying that you had 18 high temps PLUS another 10, for a total of 28 days of high temps? If so, then that points pretty well toward being pregnant.

But if you’re saying that you just had 10 days of high temps, then that is completely normal for anyone, pregnant or not. The typical luteal phase (when you see the high temps) lasts 12-16 days, so at a minimum you will have at least 2 more days of high temps even if you are not pregnant.

I second what snmcdowell said. And, last Friday you would have only been at 3-4 high temps (which corresponds to 3-4 days past ovulation), correct? That would be WAY too early for a pregnancy test to be positive so there’s still a chance that you are this cycle. You will probably need to wait a few more days to know one way or the other.
