I can’t stop thinking about the beautiful ethereal fabrics of the new White collection by Vera Wang. It’s taking everything in my control to not go to the store and try them on. I know if I went though I would just fall in love with one of their gowns even more and it would be bad news bears. I already have a dress that I got for much much less ($125) so I shouldn’t look but oh my goodness it’s so beautiful to see that there are dresses in her line that aren’t strapless (which I wanted for my dress)
oh my goodness….

I waited to put the final deposit on my gown just so I could wait and try them on, I didn’t want to change my mind again or think I should have, so I am off to DB this week.

Girl I soooo feel you. I’m currently looking up where there is a david’s bridal near me. There’s one dress in that collection that I just can’t get off my mind although I already have a somewhat expensive dress. sucha pickle.

My Fi will in no way let me get a new dress. But I feel like if I could feel more confident in something else I wish I could wear it. Sometimes I have second thoughts about my dress, then I have to take my dress out and look at it again.

I don’t blame you. I’m already married and I want to try on some of those amazing dresses! They’re so dreamy.

I just read another post saying how she was diappointed with the quality of the White by Vera dresses (synthetic fabrics and poor construction) she saw at DB, so you might actually not be missing anything if you compare your dress to the White by Vera collection and factor in the major price difference. You could get a Maggie gown made of real silk for those prices, and I know how good of quality those dresses are.

@mcnetn3: I was going to say the exact same thing.
I was in DB this weekend helping a friend try on wedding dresses (I’m one of her BMs). She tried on the one with the ruffly skirt.. although it looked beautiful I was really put off by the quality. The ruffles have a really unfinished edge to them that was already fraying in the dress my friend tried on. In the back of the dress I could even see where the ruffles of fabric were sewn on. But to be fair, maybe this was just because the dress had been tried on a lot before. Everyone was going nuts over the Vera dresses!
