KHarris:  I would just get a simple plain wedding band for your wedding, and another blingy band down the road. You can wear the plain after the wedding when you don’t want to damage your other rings, and wear it on your right hand when you have your blingy set on.

My husband put a beautiful bezel eternity band on my finger on our wedding day. A year later he upgraded my wedding ring and I had my original band resized so I can wear it on my right hand instead. Maybe you can do that.

KHarris:  I think you are stressing to much. But that’s coming from someone who does not wear her original set. To me, it’s just jewelry that shows you are married. Stressing out about it is not healthy! You have many other things that probably need your attention. If it were me, I’d get married without the wedding band all together  and wait to get one on your first anniversary so that you have time to continue looking.
