elenamarie501:  the best and healthiest way to lose weight is through a clean, low-carb diet. Incorporate veggies (no- that does not include normal potatoes, but you can eat sweet potatoes), fruits, and nuts ONLY. Some leans meats are alright every now and then. Also, cardio, cardio, cardio! For appetite suppression, you can cut a lemon in half and put it in a glass of warm water and drink that. It’s supposed to be a good detox as well as an appetite suppressant.

Good luck with your weight loss. I know what it’s like to want to look your best when you know all eyes are going to be on you. Just take it slow and be kind to yourself.

I actually also had some luck with taking supplements at the beginning of my weight loss journey (it was hoodia). I found they totally took the edge off of the hunger while my body adjusted to my new eating habits. I really only took them for a few weeks, after that time a lot of my cravings were gone and the progress I saw was motivation enough to keep going!
