I’d be pretty annoyed at that point! Definitely talk to a manager and get things sorted out, if they know you’re an unhappy customer they may try to do something to better your experience. Hopefully…

there’s no reason for you to be getting a weird story like that!

If he said he’d call you by 3 tomorrow and you agreed to that, then you should wait– otherwise it’ll just seem like you’re an impatient customer.  Give him  the chance to follow through with what he said (for all you know this IS an issue with the manufactuer, and he can only do so much).  Then, call the manager, if he still fails.

It could have been that his rep at the manufacturer is off on that particular Monday, he’s just a middle man, so try to cut him a bit of slack and hopefully he’ll get you the info you need.

I have no patience, so I probably would call and talk to a manager.

I would wait… there are lots of businesses that close on Mondays nowadays (to save overhead costs).  I agree with @juliette.eliza, calling again today will make you seem impatient.  It’s just a little bit longer!

@Lepidoptera:  I would call right freaking now. If the salesperson is the ONLY one who can help you, surely he should’ve been on top of your order and should have notified you that your furniture was a bit behind.

@Bostongrl25:  lol. patience is not a word in my vocabulary.

Also, how patient is she supposed to be? It’s already a week and a half past the delivery date and she hadn’t heard anything about it until SHE called them?

Monday the 3rd was Labour Day in Canada By The Way.  That’s why they were closed.

@.twist.:  oh i totally agree. I most likely would have started calling about 6 weeks after ordering. I am that annoying customer.

@Bostongrl25:  lol. I am SOOOO that customer. I just got a new washer and dryer and they left it literally to the last day to call me and tell me when it would be delivered. They were lucky. LOL

@Lepidoptera:  I totally get it. I’d be super frustrated too! I get too excited about that kind of stuff for them to take their sweet time! 😉
