You could be pregnant, and just not testing possitive yet. My Girlfriend was pregnant with twins and didn’t test possitive for like a month! I would wait until its been a week, if no period still, test again, and if thats negative, maybe call your Dr. Good luck!!!!!

I think tests are typically better read 18-20 days after ovulation.  I think that’s what I remember from Wechsler’s book, Taking Charge of Your Fertility.

I agree with Rosie that you should probably wait at least another week. Good luck and keep us posted!

Do you know how many days it has been since you ovulated? Were you tracking your temperatures or any other fertility signs? Depending on how sensitive the test is you should be able to get a positive around 14 days past ovulation.

Every woman is different; some will show a + before a missed period others a week after or more from a missed period! it is frustrating! EPT are the best tests so I hear to have the hormone show up, what type of test are you using? My friend showed a + on an EPT when the dr’s pee test still was negative (one day late from period she was)

good luck!

Oh, it’s so tricky!  Aren’t there ovulation kits out there now?  Maybe you can try testing for that so you know?

Good luck and let us know how it goes!

Wow! By now you are about 19 days past ovulation right? I would be going out of my mind if there was no period AND no positive test confirmation by then. According to TCOYF an 18 day (and longer) luteal phase means your are almost certainly pregnant. I think that’s qualified with 18 high temps though. Good luck – I hope you get a positive on Wednesday!

I would be going crazy wondering if I was or wasn’t, hang in there!! Why don’t you just go to the dr and have them do a bloodtest? The hormone will show up in your bloodwork way before it will for a pee test. That might put your mind at ease and you can get results within the hour! You don’t have to see an ob/gyn, you can just see your regular doctor or find a clinic that takes your insurance and does bloodwork.

Good luck, keep us updated!!

Yes, good luck for next month and a January baby πŸ™‚

The temping is no fun – every day I’m trying to interpret what a dip or a rise could mean. I do have a thermometer recommendation though. Go to Amazon and order the BD brand basal thermometer. I think it was like $10 and it definitely seems to be more reliable than the “fever” thermometers we had around the house. It drives my husband crazy though because it slowly beeps the entire time (about 1 minute).
