@SHESCOUNTRY: I do. Although I do the hunters. So I’m big into USEF and USHJA.

I have a Mustang! She’s only 4, so she’s still green, but she is the best horse I have ever known. I’m training her in lower level dressage and will hopefully mini-event her and possibly lower-level event.

I just moved up North (Canada) to a really small town and omigosh you’d love it. Horses everywhere. I seriously feel like I’ve stepped back in time sometimes. People ride their horses to the bar and tie them up outside so that they can ride them home drunk…its hiliarious!

My coworker is obsessed with horses and has two beautiful show horses. She and her daughter compete all the time and have the most amazing photos…I should try to round some up to show you. People are pretty serious about their horse shows up here (My coworkers daughter’s new show shirt is worth $900!!).

P.S. I love horses too 🙂

@SHESCOUNTRY: I love the hunters because I just LOVE to jump. Here’s a pic from one of the last shows I did

Thanks, he’s a pretty boy! Wish he was mine. For now I just have to be happy I get to show him. Yours are great looking too!

I had a QH in high school for five years, showed him in everything from hunter to western pleasure to team penning.  He was amazing.  I had to sell him to go to college.  Worst thing I ever did.  I still tear up when I get around horses because I miss him so much.  I tried tracking him down a few years ago, but came up empty.  He’s really the boy that has my heart.

I am not directly but my parents are, LOL – – They own a ranch and my dad raises and trains NRCHA horses.  Its what I grew up with. My sisters were both Hunter Jumpers, my one sister competed in the Hampton Classics 2 yrs ina row – I strayed and went into competative figure skating, LOL However, put my on a horse english and/or country and I can ride. You never do lose it and whenever I go home I get on a horse and ride with my dad Wink
