If u must know. My first marriage ended due to abuse. Not a commitment issue.
Commitment is a man moving in to care for not only a child (not his) but the mother of his partner after said mother has a massive stroke and can not be alone. Commitment is cooking and cleaning and food shopping and laundry all while I work so I don’t have to worry when I get home. Commitment is takin aforementioned mother to doctor appointments and therapy appointments since they can only be scheduled during the hours I work. That’s commitment.
Damn right I will only wear one ring. The ring he had made for me. The ring that he decided was the one he wanted to put on my finger and ask me to be next to him for life. Anything else is just jewelry
Keeo your maturity comments and judging on your side. As I said I was not nor have I ever judged any woman or man for any decision they make in their lives. But I will share an opinion as we are all entitled to them.
And im 41

I’ve personally never seen this done in real life….only on the bee. However, I don’t pay attention to a woman’s wedding/engagement ring unless she personally shows it to me. So it is maybe done and I just haven’t noticed. I was kind of shocked by it once I started coming on here, but have become used to the concept.
I am not sure if I could ever do it bc while I am not super attached to “the ring”, I know my man is and that’s understandable. I think it would hurt his feelings. As a lover of jewelry and rings, I have 9 other fingers to support my ring obsession LOL. No judgment from me though.

mrsv18 : And I’m older than you are and also left an abusive marriage. And I’ve done all the things you listed and still think while I have a sentimental attachment to my ring(s) your original (and subsequent) post(s) reek(s) of judgment toward women who feel other than you do. I am also entitled to my opinion. Have a nice evening.
