So not the only one…Thats why I’m not having actual favors at the wedding. I know its a nice thought and all, but the majority of people (to me at least) seems like they leave them sitting.

I always take the favours – not necessarily because I *want* it, but because I’ll feel guilty if I don’t! I hate the idea of the bride or groom knowing that they were all left behind, it makes me feel so sad. We had edible favours and bc our food was a little late in coming out I think they were mostly all eaten before dinner 🙂

I always forget mine, too! lol. Which is why we weren’t doing them until Bridesmaid or Best Man Morgan decided to make cookies for us. lol.

I’ve been lucky- the favors from the weddings I attended recently were GREAT! No chance of forgetting something I want!

I “forget” the favor on purpose because I’m a favor-hater.

I usually take them–but they never come out of my car!

Hence the reason I will not be giving out favors at my wedding.

@virginiamarie – im the same way – i am NOT a favor fan. so i usually “convienently forget” to take them with me.

then again i have never been to a wedding with good favors. i mean why would *i* want somethig with *their* names and wedding dates on them? i didnt marry them??? i so dont get favors like that…  (no offense to people that have them….i just dont get it…)

our caterer told us that TONS of favors are always left over at events.  he sometimes tries to hide them from the B/G so they don’t feel bad 🙂

i like favors that are useful in some way or edible.  I’m giving out small candles that smell really good, in a satin bag that can be used to hold jewlery etc.  I personally usually leave them behind.

@spanganya–Ok, I’m putting myself out there and I may possibly regret it.  But I think it is blatently rude for the bride and groom for put the personal info that you mentioned on their favors.  Even though I hate favors, I feel the point of them is a token and way to say “thanks, we appreciate you”. Assuming that your guest is gonna want something with YOUR name/date on it just blows my mind!  Imagine if your guest gave you wine glasses with THEIR name etched into them—not so cool, huh?!  Edible favors are the way to go.  I probably pissed off a few brides, but this is a massive pet peeve of mine!

@VirginiaMarie I completely agree. We’re having favors- little iron ornaments in the shape of Arizona-y things (Coyotes, Cacti, etc) and guess what …. that’s it. My mom was sad it wouldn’t have our names + date. So we’re having one made special for the moms :o)

Oh and to answer the question: Yes I forget the favors.
