Oh yeah, I cut my man’s hair! Watching YouTube shows I learned to perform a pretty good fade cut.  I buzz the neck and back of the head 1, 2,and a bit of 3, blend it all, and do the top by hand – finger width. I also pluck his unibrow and ear hairs, and do monthly facial pore cleaning for his  nose. My man is well taken care of ๐Ÿ™‚

Youtube and Pinterest made me a professional. Ha. I cut both my husband’s and my son’s hair.

I give my Fiance a fresh fade every other week. Sometimes I wish he’d go get it done BC he is a girl about his hair haha

I do it! ๐Ÿ™‚
Did it for the wedding too – Talk about high pressure. ha
He refuses to go elsewhere – doesn’t like people touching him. So it either grows endlessly or I do it. It’s kinda fun, though. And it’s nice that he trusts me to do it.

SO likes his hair a little longer than a buzz, so he goes down to the old fashioned barber shop in town. I think it costs like eight bucks, you show up and when it’s your turn you get your hair cut. Sometimes it takes like fifteen minutes, sometimes it takes three hours because he has to wait… but everybody does it because it’s cheap and men like to sit and gossip! ๐Ÿ˜‰

He would let me, but I don’t trust myself haha. The most I’ll do is clean up his neck! But I did let him cut MY hair once! The day after our wedding I was SOOO fed up with how long my hair was (I grew it out for the wedding) but didn’t have enough time to go get a haircut, so I sat on the bed and he cut like 6 inches off for me! Haha I got it cleaned up on our honeymoon and the ladies in the salon were DYING! One looked at him and goes, “Don’t you dare ever do this to her again!” It honestly didn’t look THAT bad though!!

I enjoy cutting my fiancé’s hair for him. I’m no professional but his hair is super curly so it looks good as long as it’s not too short. Very easy!

That’s totally normal and not weird. It’s great that your man trusts you enough to let you touch his hair. Mine trusts me, but I don’t trust myself. I cut his hair once and he ended up with a bald patch on the side of his head. Such a good sport – he didn’t complain one bit and even said he liked it, but I just let him go to a professional now because I want him to look good!

Just curious, do any bees let their man cut/style their hair? My Fiance helps me take out my weave in extensions…

kangaroode:  I don’t think it is weird at all. Of course I have always absolutely hated going to the salon, far too many bad haircuts to count, seems they did what they want, not what I asked for. So I understand how your guy would prefer to avoid the barber as well. I actually have my guy cut my hair for me. Started when I went on a rant shortly after we started dating about how I needed my haircut, been over a year, and I hate salons. He offered to cut it for me. He had given haircuts to ex-wife, previous girlfriends and female friends. I said lets do it and he gave me a great haircut. Afterwards I told him I always wanted my hair long but never could grow it out. He promised to help me if I promised not to give up and ask him to cut it short. Well he has been my stylist since and my hair reaches below my elbows now. It’s never looked prettier. He combs it out and braids it for me. French, Dutch, fishtail and variations. He has gotten quite good at it and I get compliments on them. For the wedding I can’t have him do my hair, but I have a friend that is going to do my makeup and hair that day. I plan to wear it down, maybe a couple braids to the sides and curled with a flowered headpiece Rather than a veil.
